How to navigate Resonance Festival of Ideas is all down to personal choice but we have provided two example attendee suggestions below, to guide you. Both paths though Resonance offer unique and valuable ways to grow and enrich one’s life.

Workshops are professionally run events, hosted by experts in their respective fields (and in the case of our Wellness Workshop – experts in a field – sorry, couldn’t resist). Fringe events are for winding-down and socialising.   

Example Attendee 1: The Intellectual Explorer

Does your curiosity drive you to ask questions – are you all about seeking out new information?

Day 1 (Wed 4th)
  • Morning or afternoon (instructor-lead): Leadership Lab Workshop – a workshop that expands your leadership communication and inclusive decision-making skills, using AR and the metaverse
  • 1pm: networking lunch – a meeting of minds
  • 7.30pm: enhance cognitive and emotional function at the Ukulele Fringe Event (no ukulele experience necessary)

 

Day 2 (Thu 5th)
  • Morning: skip the Morning Yoga & Sauna Cabin. Lie-in, pondering on Day 1or take an inspiring stroll around the beautiful twin towns of Ballina-Killaloe
  • 1pm: networking lunch – a meeting of minds
  • 3pm: Local myths & legends talk – immerse yourself in the cultural identity of the community
  • 7.30pm: Headline Event boasting a mind-expanding speaker line-up, with live music from Jerry Fish and guests
  • 10.30pm: Afters – for deep discussion, in the spirit of the Parisian coffee house

  • 1pm: networking lunch – a meeting of minds (bodies also welcome)
  • Morning or afternoon (instructor-led): Leadership Lab Workshop – a workshop that expands your leadership communication and inclusive decision-making skills, using AR and the metaverse
  • 7.30pm: enhance cognitive and emotional function at the Ukulele Fringe Event* (no ukulele experience necessary)
Day 2 (Thu 5th)
  • 9am: Morning Yoga* with Cúla Yoga
  • From 9.30am – choose from 3 x slots: Sauna Cabin* by the lake
  • 1pm: networking lunch – a meeting of minds (bodies also welcome)
  • 3pm: Local myths & legends talk* – immerse yourself in the cultural identity of the community

Where your money goes

Resonance is a not-for-profit festival of ideas taking place in September 2024, at the cultural and historical crossing point of the River Shannon in Ballina Killaloe. All proceeds go to cover costs of this year’s event (venue rental, equipment supply, speaker/performer costs, outreach, volunteer co-ordination, etc.) and any surplus generated is put aside to make next year’s event even better.
